Brain Waves

I run into Brian from the analytics department in the breakroom and ask him about his weekend. Hold on, he says. I just need a minute. He opens his skull and takes his brain out. He opens the microwave and puts his brain in. Thirty seconds should do it, he says, and presses 3-0-Start. Sometimes it gets a little stale. The microwaves freshen it up. The microwave beeps and he opens it. He puts the steaming brain back in his skull and closes it up. It does smell rather unsavory at first, he admits. But you get used to it.
