Nomination Announcements

2015 Best of the Net Nominations

We are so excited to announce our Best of the Net Nominations for 2015. But before we do, we have to tell you how difficult our task was. The pieces we have been blessed to showcase in our journal are all so incredible. Really, it’s like trying to choose a favorite child. Impossible. So we want our contributors to know that if your work wasn’t nominated, it’s not because we don’t love you. We do. And don’t forget that nominations for the Pushcart and also for Best Small Fictions will come around later in the year, and we’ll be nominating for those, as well. The Best of the Net nominations are taken from works published from July, 2014 through June, 2015, and nominations are accepted from July through September.

Here are our nominations for the 2015 Best of the Net Anthology:

POEMS

Nolan Liebert for First Blue
C.C. Russell for Spun
Michael Prihoda for Proximity
Howie Good for The Heart of It
Maureen Kingston for Fired
Kyle Hemmings for Cat Woman Sexy: Veterans of Foreign Wars

STORIES

Ani King for Jacob Have I Loved
Penn Javdan for JigSaw

CREATIVE NONFICTION

Sylvia Heike for Elephant’s Tears: For Raju

A huge congrats to the nominees! We have our fingers crossed for you!
